About Dr RebeccaHow the coaching works
- 1
A free call first
Talk through your schools, your interview dates and where you feel least ready with Dr Rebecca, then choose the package that fits.
- 2
Your schools, your formats
Every school interviews differently, from Edinburgh's seven station MMI to Liverpool's pre-recorded questions and Cambridge's College interviews, so your hours are planned around the formats and dates you actually face.
- 3
Coaching on what is really tested
Motivation, reflection on your work experience, animal welfare and ethics, current issues in the profession, role play with owners, and data and numeracy tasks, practised aloud rather than memorised.
- 4
Mock interviews with feedback
Timed mock interviews in your schools' formats, honest feedback on what to keep and what to change, and the chance to apply it before the real thing.
- 5
The Interview Guide between sessions
More than 300 vet school interview questions with model answers in the members area, so the hours with Dr Rebecca go on practice and feedback.
For the questions themselves and how each of the twelve UK vet schools interviews, see our vet school interview questions guide.

Common questions
Interview preparation questions
How much does vet interview preparation cost at Become A Vet?+
Our interview-only packages cost £1,500 for 5 hours or £2,500 for 10 hours of one to one coaching with Dr Rebecca, and both include the Interview Guide. Interview preparation is also part of every tier of The Vet Offer Programme (£3,950 for 10 hours, £4,950 for 20 hours or £6,450 for 30 hours), which covers your whole application.
Who runs the coaching and mock interviews?+
Dr Rebecca Massie BVetMed MRCVS, a practising vet registered with the RCVS who has mentored vet school applicants since 2012. Every session is with her, never a student tutor.
Do you run group MMI courses?+
No. Every package is one to one, so every minute goes on your schools, your experiences and your answers rather than a shared group circuit.
How many mock interviews do I get?+
On the interview-only packages your mock interviews are built into your hours, in the formats your schools use, each with feedback. On The Vet Offer Programme you get one mock interview per vet school on the Essential and Advanced tiers, and two per vet school on the Premier tier.
Should I choose 5 hours or 10 hours?+
Five hours suits a focused polish before one or two interviews. Ten hours suits applicants with several interviews in different formats, a Cambridge interview, or who want more rounds of mocks and feedback. Dr Rebecca will advise honestly on a free call.
When should I start interview preparation?+
Ideally six to eight weeks before your first interview. For 2027 entry most UK vet school interviews run between November 2026 and February 2027, with Cambridge's main period from 7 to 18 December 2026, so starting soon after you apply gives you the most room.
Do you prepare applicants for Cambridge vet interviews?+
Yes. Both packages cover Cambridge College interviews alongside MMI, panel and pre-recorded formats. The Premier tier of The Vet Offer Programme also includes two Cambridge mock interviews with a Cambridge trained clinician.
Do you help international applicants with interviews?+
Yes, at the same price. Most UK vet schools offer overseas applicants an online interview, and we prepare you for the format each of your schools uses.
How do I pay, and when do I get the Interview Guide?+
You can pay by card in full or by bank transfer from the package page. Once payment is confirmed you can open the Interview Guide in the members area.
Not sure which package you need?
Book a free call with Dr Rebecca. Tell her your schools and interview dates, and she will tell you honestly how much preparation you need.
