Terms and conditions

The terms on which we provide our guidance and services. Please read them before booking or buying.

Effective 15 June 2026. These terms form the agreement between you and RGEM Corporation Ltd, trading as Become A Vet.

Who we are

Become A Vet is a trading name of RGEM Corporation Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We provide guidance and tutoring to help students apply to UK veterinary schools, delivered by Dr Rebecca Massie, a qualified veterinary surgeon. You can contact us at info@becomeavet.co.uk or +44 (0)203 488 5468.

Our services

We offer one to one guidance across the veterinary application, including choosing schools, work experience, the personal statement, written assessment stages and interviews, sold as programme tiers and as individual services. The detail of what each tier includes is set out on the relevant page and confirmed with you before you start.

Our guidance is advisory. We help you present the strongest possible application, but admissions decisions are made solely by the universities, and we cannot and do not guarantee an offer. What we do guarantee, on the Premier tier, is our continued support, as described in the Offer Support Guarantee below.

Booking and consultations

Initial consultations are free and carry no obligation. Booking a call does not create a paid contract. A paid agreement begins only when you purchase a programme or service and we confirm it.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the site in pounds sterling and may change from time to time, though the price you are quoted at the point of purchase is the price that applies to that purchase. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Where we agree payment by bank transfer, details and a reference are provided on the payment page. Services begin once payment, or an agreed first instalment, has been received.

Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you normally have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel and receive a refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to begin the service within that period and we do, you may be charged for the work already carried out, and you lose the right to cancel once the service is fully performed. To cancel, email us at info@becomeavet.co.uk.

After the cancellation period, fees for sessions already delivered are non-refundable. We will always deal with you fairly and reasonably if your circumstances change.

The Offer Support Guarantee (Premier tier)

My support does not stop at the end of the cycle. If you complete the Premier programme and are not offered a place this time, I will keep guiding you through your next application cycle at no further cost — so you always have a qualified vet in your corner.

Only remaining hours from your package carry over. Additional tutoring can be purchased on top if you need more.

This guarantee applies to the Premier tier only. It requires that you complete the programme as agreed, including attending sessions, acting on guidance and submitting your application on time. The full terms, covering completion of the programme and support through one further cycle, are explained plainly at consultation and confirmed in writing before you begin.

Your responsibilities

To get the most from our support, and for the guarantee to apply, you agree to engage with the programme, attend agreed sessions, provide accurate information, meet deadlines, and submit your own genuine work. We help you produce the strongest application in your own words; we do not write applications for you, and submitting work dishonestly may breach university and UCAS rules.

Intellectual property

All content on this site and within our programmes, including guides, frameworks and resources, belongs to RGEM Corporation Ltd or its licensors and is provided for your personal use as a client. You may not copy, share or resell it without our written permission.

Liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes outside our control such as admissions decisions or exam results. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Privacy

We handle your personal data in line with our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time, with the effective date shown above. The terms that apply to your purchase are those in force when you buy. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
